Mandarin is just one of the many languages in China, and by people of Chinese descent across the globe. Currently, learning Mandarin has become one of the strategies in conquering the business world which in turn has been manipulating the world constructs since history. Language, after all, is a powerful tool. It allows one to connect with another, encouraging trust, respect, and understanding.
These are the reasons why my parents force me to learn Mandarin as this is strategic as well in learning business mostly spearheaded by the Chinese. Despite being of the Chinese descent, my main language is Fukien. Even though I know Fukien already, it is hard for me still to learn Mandarin and so we have decided to start from scratch and enrol in business Mandarin lessons for beginners.
I have been enrolling to different language lessons, but due to having attention problems, I hardly ever learn at all. Aside from my attention problems, other language schools were very boring.

They offer a standard course training procedure for Chinese language lessons in Singapore. They always start with a placement test or consultation, followed by assessing my short term and long term goals. They will then proceed to decide on a suitable course mode and course duration and customize the course course content based on my assessment with them. They then proposed a suitable trainer for me and offered complimentary trial lessons. We then discussed on the fees agreed on, and after this, the course started to commence. After the course of the lessons, i then had my first feedback session. Based on these, we adjusted the course and other materials. We also had cultural events and gathering. The last step was when I was able to complete my objectives and go the results.
In fairness, I did not at all, become board of the lessons, maybe because it was interactive and focused that I had come to befriend my trainer.
Their teachers were also very skilled and I was told they were selected by strict standards.
I never really knew learning Mandarin can be this fun, while not sacrificing structure and the whole syllabus! I also had no problems with regards to my attention problems, maybe because of the focused group, or of the one on one sessions. Over-all, I extremely recommend taking business Chinese learning lessons form Elite Linguistics!
